Jenna-Louise Coleman (born in London) is a British popular actor. She's best known for her role as Clara Oswald as Clara Oswald from the Doctor Who television series. Early in her career, Jenna-Louise Coleman was a member of Yer Space a theater company which performed Crystal Clear during the Edinburgh Festival. The production received praise as well as Coleman won an honorary award for the performance. Coleman received her first major break when she landed the part of Jasmine Thomas in the soap drama Emmerdale from 2005. The show continued until 2009 when it ceased. Jasmine Thomas was her character in the National Television Awards 2006. The actress was nominated as Most Popular Freshman at that award ceremony. Coleman began her career in the film industry in 2011, when she played Connie as she appeared as she appeared in Captain America: The First Avenger. She had her biggest chance to show off her talents when it came to acting as she played the role of the former British monarch Queen Victoria on ITV's Victoria. Coleman is an excellent actor and has displayed her range by playing Lindsay James (a British schoolgirl) in BBC Drama Waterloo Road and now an the empress Victoria.
