Winona-Ryder
Winona Laura Horowitz, professionally referred to by the name Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her for the town she grew up in. Both her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder is a self-described Jewish has a connection to Ryder's Jewish father. Uria is Ryder's younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are her half-siblings. At the age of seven, Ryder was just seven years old, her family relocated from Mendocino County, California. Mendocino County California. There they didn't have electricity. Ryder was a prolific reader due to the lack of television. Ryder was 12 when she enrolled at the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in the year 1983. In 1986, she got her first big-screen role in the movie Lucas at just fifteen years old. Ryder was bullied at her high school. In 1988, she got her biggest break with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder went on to have success in roles. In 1993, Ryder was nominated two times for Academy Awards.
